All is Well

So, my beloved Bosox, go to Bossland, (aka Yankee Stadium) and lose the first game Monday night. I gotta tell you I was bumming. Tues night with Taveraz, who is not my favorite pitcher is on the mound. I'm thinking this could be two losses in a row to the hated Skanks. Ahhhhhhhh, but Manny being Manny delivers a 3 run blast to jump start the Sox! Whew! Some good pitching, and some tense moments throughout the rest of the game, but the Sox prevail!

And............ The Red Wings lose!!!!!!!!!!!! As I said, all is well today! :)

Who to root for in the Stanely Cup starting Sun; The Ducks, or the Sens? Hmmmmmmmmmm

BoSox take Two out of Three

Ok, so after a crazy ass DoubleHeader Saturday in which we saw the Bosox & Braves trade wins, and a few hits, alright, ALOT of god damn hits, the Sox come back and win on Sunday. WHEW! Oh yeah, Skankees win one out of Three against the Mets to avoid a Subway Series sweep. I guess Torres job is still safe with Boss George.

Question, if you are the Skankees skipper, is your job ever safe??

You don’t realize it yet, but in the next few minutes you are going to learn how to improve the security of your home and for your family.

You probably know that throughout the year numerous burglaries occur, and some may even be in your neighborhood. Are you tired from reading about them, and wondering what you can do? Imagine what it would be like if you could keep your family safe from crime.

Earlier I asked you the question ”who else wants a safe and secure home?” Naturally you said yes; you and your family. To help you start acheiveing security for your home, the folks at Sherwood Locksmithing of La Vergne TN. have developed a FREE 15 question Security Quiz. With this newly learned knowledge, you’ll discover what was missing from keeping your home secure.

1. Have you installed deadbolts on all entry doors,
including the door between your house and garage?

2. Are your windows secured with quality window locks?

3. Is landscaping trimmed well so hedges and shrubs
don't hide your windows?

4. Is your property lit well at night?

5. When you go away on vacation, do you use timers for
interior lights?

6. Do you hide spare keys under the front door mat?

7. Have you changed the locks since moving into your home?

8. Do all your exterior doors have a wide-angle eye viewer that allows you to identify visitors?

You can visualize your home becoming more secure with every question you answer. Now, let all this information sink in for a moment. STOP and ask yourself this key question. Is my home really secure?
Did you rekey your locks since moving in? Do you have high quality deadbolts on your doors? If you are not sure, a quick 3 minute phone call to Sherwood Locksmithing at 615 355-5886 can cure any doubts you may have.

The People's Champion

Did you get to watch the Player's Championship this past weekend?? Especially Sunday? If not, you missed a great ending to a great golf tournament. Phil Michelson, and if I spelt his name wrong, I apologize, won what the golf industry calls it's 5th major. Not only was his ball striking splendid, he was calm, cool and collected. Yes, maybe he did did a bit of a break on the 18th with his second shot not taking one more roll and finding the water. But hey, everyone and I mean everyone deserves a break here and there. God knows Tiger gets his fair share of them.

I think the thing I liked so much about this years winner was, that when they handed him the trophy, (what a chunk of glass!) before he would talk about his game, or triumph, he made it a point to acknowledge ALL the mothers on Mother's day, including his wife and his mother, and mother in law. Also, Phil stood up there and thanked ALL is coaches, I don't think that there is any bad blood between any of them, and most important, he didn't burn any bridges. Just a class guy. After the press, and I despise the press, crucified him at last years US Open, I am glad to see him come back and win a tournament of this caliber. Phil deserves to be called the People's Champion.

Speaking of the Press, what was up with Johnny, Gary, and Roger talking back and forth so much?? God I haven't heard that much rambling about anything in a long time. Useless info they spew sometimes. I'd rather watch it without the sound on.

Red Sox continueing to look good. Dice K had another good outing in his start against the Tigers. Beckett, Beckett is from Planet Awesometron as my buddy Fitzy would say. BTW, that is where Tom "F" Brady hangs out!

Stanley Cup playoffs, Sens are up 3-0. I mentioned them last week, and they are looking good. I think they will be well rested, just hope they are not rusty when the "Blow me" Red Wings, and Ducks series is completed.

Last thing, if you are in the Nashville Tn area, Thirsty Thursdays are back at the Longshot Sports Grille and Cantina on Demonbreun st. What does that mean you ask?? 2 4 1 beer ALL night, and 2 4 1 Liquor until 10pm! Come join us! This Thursday, May 17th, a bunch of us are meeting up at the Longshot, grab a bite to eat and going to the Sounds game. Looking forward to enjoying a little AAA baseball with my daughter and some friends. A BIG Thanks to Sports Talk Radio 560am for hooking me up with some tix, THANKS!

Dice K

WOW! I just logged on to here, and I can't believe my last post was back in Sept! Incedible how the time flies! In that time, we have seen football season and March madness come & go! (How about those moves the NE Pats made in the off season!) Anyways, this brings us to the present baseball season and also Lord Stanely's Cup.

I wasn't sure what to think of the signing of Dice K for the GaJillion dollars the Sox spent on him, especially after the first couple of games I saw him pitch. But now, as the Monkeez sang, :"I'm a believer"!!!! My buddy Marc set me on the right course when he said Dice just needs some time to get use to American Baseball. My question is: can American Baseball get use to Dice k??

Now for the run to Lord Stanley's Cup. Boooooooooooo Red Wings!!!!!!! Anybody but the Red Wings. I don't have a favorite this year, although I could lean towards the Ducks, or the Sens.

I'm out,
